We're not sure how this unfortunate fella met his end, but we found just his head lying on the beach at Las Penitas near to Leon. 
He still had lots of fleshy bits stuck on him. It could have just been an aquatic attack by a caiman or a carnivorous fish, or quite possibly, at the hands of local hunters - turtle meat is an illegal, expensive delicacy here along with raw turtle eggs.

Of course not. Mind you, seeing a real turtle's head makes the visual image of a bit of poo poking out of a bumhole fairly grusome.
