While we were in the highlands of Nicaragua on a coffee picking trip, we stayed at an agricultural training centre in a spectacular location. Our trip deliberately coincided with the full moon, as the farmer we were visiting believes that coffee is at its best for the few days around a full moon. Something to do with gravity drawing sugary liquids into the coffee cherries.
