The Devil's Tooth

On the day of the big football match, we chose to spend the morning at the Devil's Tooth. We took a local minibus service just half an hour out of La Paz to a considerably more rural location. After an hour or so slogging up dusty tracks on the hottest day we had experienced so far here, we arrived at the base of the Devil's Tooth - a distinctive rock formation with great views over the city. We scrambled up the base of the tooth, clinging to rocks and once at the top, enjoyed our sandwiches and the view. It was at this point that we realised the Bolivia vs Argentina match kicked off in little under two hours, so we hot footed it back and made it just in time for kick off.
